Welcome to Syncopotamus! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our web service, which facilitates the synchronization of data between your Google Sheets and Basecamp accounts. By accessing or using Syncopotamus, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.
1. Description of Service
Syncopotamus provides a platform that allows users to synchronize data between their Google Sheets and Basecamp accounts. Our service acts as a conduit for data transfer and does not store or retain any data from these platforms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using Syncopotamus, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Data Privacy and Security
- No Data Storage: Syncopotamus does not store, retain, or back up any data synchronized between your Google Sheets and Basecamp accounts. During the synchronization process, data is temporarily held on our servers exclusively for the purpose of ensuring that the data is accurately synchronized between your accounts. Once the synchronization is successfully completed, all data is immediately deleted from our servers.
- Data Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the data you choose to synchronize using our service. Syncopotamus is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of the data you synchronize.
4. User Responsibilities
- Compliance: You agree to use Syncopotamus in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Limitation of Liability
- No Warranty: Syncopotamus is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- No Liability for Synced Data: Syncopotamus shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including any issues related to the data synchronized between your Google Sheets and Basecamp accounts.
6. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Syncopotamus at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
