Keep your data in lockstep

Syncopotamus allows you to keep data synchronized.

Need a last-minute report from Google Sheet? The status of the cards is already there.

Need to get Basecamp notifications when a co-worker adds data to the Sheet? No problem!

Syncopotamus is a tool that allows you to transfer data between a Google Sheet and a Card Table board in Basecamp.

The data is classified based on the columns in Google Sheets, then translated to fit into a card. Links are automatically converted, links to images are added as pictures, and you can even assign the card to the specific people in the team by adding their name.

You can sync in both directions, which allows you to use the strengths of both Google Sheets and Card Table. Two amazing services that complement each other really well.

For example, you can enter the data in Google Sheets and transfer it to Card Table for collaboration with the team. Later down the line, maybe you want a specific report with the information from Card Table. You can transfer that back to Google Sheets and format your report there however you’d like… the possibilities are endless.

Syncopotamus has been used as an internal tool, and it works really well. It’s planned to be made available to everyone soon. If you’d like to get notified, enter your email in the form above.
